Register for 2022 Big Island and Back - Winter Events

Mark your calendars, prep your ski equipment, get those fat tires ready, tune up the snowshoes, and pull out your thermals, the 8th annual Big Island & Back Winter Event is going to be better than ever!

Sunday, February 6th is the big day!

Our plan is to return to the classic 10K course on Lake Minnetonka, with start & finish at Excelsior Beach, around Big Island & Back. Course may be adjusted depending on weather and snow conditions. Start times:

• Skiers (classic and skate) will start at 2:00 - youth division, followed by adult division.
• Snowshoers will start at approximately 2:15.
• Fat Tire Bikes will start at approximately 2:30.

Don't miss the after-party at Excelsior Brewing Company for refreshments from Joey Nova's Tonka Bay, music, awards and door prizes, and of course, beer!
